The Housing
situation nearby Newton International
College, Garden Grove, is very good. Here in
Southern California there is a wide variety
of accommodations. For student housing
within walking distance of the Garden Grove
campus, there are two large apartment
buildings: the Franciscan Gardens (130
units) and Rancho Valencia apartments (245
units). For commuters by bus or car we also
recommend the Grand Resort Apartments (750
units) nearby in the city of Anaheim. Our
international student office at Irvine
Campus can assist students securing an
apartment in these locations by special
arrangements. Also, there is the option of
staying in a boarding house with room and
board in the vicinity of the Garden Grove
Campus.

per month For a share room at Vietnamese
family : about $250 to $400 per month (not
include food)
HOTEL/MOTEL
Local hotels and motels offer
students in short-term programs great
convenience. They also provide short term
students with services and amenities such as
maid services, health clubs, and
complimentary breakfast. A hotel and motel
referral list is available upon request.

are encouraged to apply for housing as early
as possible. Housing applications will be
considered on a first-come, first-served
basis. Students should apply no later than 4
weeks prior to the start of their programs.
